Why grid order runs backward
Instagram places each new profile post before older ones. Start with Post 1 at the visual bottom right and follow the numbered files. Carousels stay left to right.

Instagram Grid Maker questions
How do I split a photo into an Instagram grid?
Choose Profile grid, select 3, 6, 9, or 12 tiles, position the crop, and prepare the downloads. Publish from Post 1 so the mosaic assembles in the intended order.
Can it make an Instagram carousel too?
Yes. Choose 2 to 10 square, portrait, or landscape slides. Files are numbered in left-to-right swipe order.
Does this Instagram photo splitter upload my image?
No. The tool opens, crops, and splits the image on your device. Social Tools List never receives it.
What image size does the tool export?
Profile grid tiles export at 1080 by 1080 pixels. Carousel slides export at 1080 by 1080, 1080 by 1350, or 1080 by 566 pixels, depending on the selected shape.
Why are grid files numbered backward?
Instagram puts the newest profile post first. Publishing from the visual bottom right toward the top left lets the finished mosaic settle into place.
